Day 34 of the torch relay saw the Olympic flame take the steam boat journey enjoyed by thousands of Lake District visitors on Windermere, Englands largest lake.
Boat owners braved the weather to accompany the Olympic Torch as it made it's way down Windermere as part of it's historic journey through Great Britain. A two hour respite in the rain allowed the Torch and onlookers to travel to Waterhead unsodden.
The Windermere Marina Village team took a well deserved break from the preparation for a busy summer season and joined the escorting vessels. Enjoyed by all!
